The Next Stage of Growth for Wind and Other Renewables

Register below to join the Houston Renewable Energy Network for a breakfast forum on “The Next Stage of Growth for Wind and Other Renewables: The Promise and Challenge of Scale” on Friday, September 30, 2016.
Mario Hurtado, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Development for Clean Line Energy will discuss the challenges of establishing sufficient transmission systems to meet the demand for renewable energy. Clean Line Energy is currently developing a series of transmission lines to deliver thousands of megawatts of low-cost renewable power from wind-producing regions to communities that have little access to renewable energy resources.
A complimentary networking breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation to follow at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium at the Wells Fargo Building on 1000 Louisiana Street, Houston, Texas. In addition to metered street parking spots that may be open, valet parking is available for a fee in the building’s garage located on the corner of Lamar and Louisiana.
The program will conclude at 9:00 a.m., and there is no cost to attend the event.
The Houston Renewable Energy Network promotes awareness and education of renewable energy technologies and markets among energy professionals in the Greater Houston area and serves as a networking organization for those with commercial and/or career interests in the Renewable Energy space. The network hosts periodic speaking events that are open to the public.
