Solarize Houston – Getting Solar Energy on Your Rooftop

Register below to join the Houston Renewable Energy Network for a breakfast forum on “Solarize Houston – Getting Solar Energy on Your Rooftop” on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Steve Krebs, Co-Founder of Solarize Houston, will describe the Solarize Houston effort, a group purchase of solar equipment to be installed on Houston residential rooftops. Cal Morton, Vice President of Strategic Relations of Texas Solar Outfitters, will describe how to pick out a residential system and arrange for and permit an installation. Maura Yates, MP2 Energy Vice President of Sustainable Solutions, will describe net metering and retail offerings for the electricity needs of solar owners remaining on the grid.
A complimentary networking breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation to follow at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium at the Wells Fargo Building on 1000 Louisiana Street, Houston, Texas. In addition to metered street parking spots that may be open, valet parking is available for a fee in the building’s garage located on the corner of Lamar and Louisiana.
The program will conclude at 9:00 a.m., and there is no cost to attend the event.
The Houston Renewable Energy Network promotes awareness and education of renewable energy technologies and markets among energy professionals in the Greater Houston area and serves as a networking organization for those with commercial and/or career interests in the Renewable Energy space. The network hosts periodic speaking events that are open to the public.
