Renewable Energy Finance Today

Register below to join the Houston Renewable Energy Network for “Renewable Energy Finance Today” and breakfast on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Seasoned energy financiers and investors Richard Carrell, Senior Vice President of Prudential Capital Group, John Jones, Managing Director, Energy Financial Services, General Electric, and John Pollock, Managing Director and Head of Global Project Finance, AIG Investments, will give their views on developments in renewable energy finance in a discussion moderated by Steve Krebs, Vice President of OwnEnergy, Inc. The speakers will touch on structure, commercial arrangements, tax, regulatory, technology, and other issues and trends impacting renewable energy finance.
A complimentary networking breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation to follow at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium at the Wells Fargo Building on 1000 Louisiana Street, Houston, Texas. In addition to metered street parking spots that may be open, valet parking is available for a fee in the building’s garage located on the corner of Lamar and Louisiana.
The program will conclude at 9:00 a.m. There is no cost to attend the event.
The Houston Renewable Energy Network promotes awareness and education of renewable energy technologies and markets among energy professionals in the Greater Houston area and serves as a networking organization for those with commercial and/or career interests in the Renewable Energy space. The network hosts periodic speaking events that are open to the public.
Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an international law firm with approximately 1800 attorneys serving clients from more than 30 offices in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia, will host the meeting. Consumer Energy Alliance, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that supports the thoughtful utilization of energy resources to help ensure improved domestic and global energy security and stable prices for consumers, will sponsor the presentation and its breakfast.
